Caulfield Race Club Background

The Caulfield Racecourse is indeed a huge horse racing venue situated at the inner eastern suburb of Caulfield, Melbourne, Australia specifically about 13kms away from the Melbourne Central Business District. Years ago, the course has been closed and has been used as a home for the army camps.  But as years went by, the club underwent modern renovations under the administration of Melbourne Racing and became one of Australias prides when it comes to horse racing venues. Today, the race course features state-of-the art facilities, well-maintained tracks, top services, and the like for each and every punter and visitors.

Now, if you are wondering why the racecourse is now being called as  “The Heath”, this is due to the fact that back during 1859 when Caulfield hosted its first race, the jockeys ride through heath, rough bushes and sand hills. But today, the racecourse can now be highly compared to other fine courses in Australia.
